Imovie will help me a lot within producing my music video as it is much more effective then older media such as: 'Windows Movie Maker', as this is dated and does not have as many effects.
With IMovie i will be able to:
- import footage a lot easier and faster from a camera/camcorder.
- edit, organise and share my footage
- Create files that include music, sound effects, themes, titles and transitions much easier.
However, i have never used IMovie before, but i am intrigued to use it and find out how much more efficient it is. as i feel it will save a lot of time and be more 'practical' to used in everyday editing. This will help make my music video a success.

Me and my group are also using 'photoshop' which is a very accessible new media technology which will enable us to achieve a professional DigiPack covers and the magazine advert. As we are very familiar with photoshop from our AS Course we can use the Magazine cover we made a year ago- and compare how effective that was with target audiences to improve.
